Sylvia Borges discovered her love for storytelling at the theatre, where she initially worked as an assistant director and stage manager. 2014, Sylvia graduated from the ‘Academy of Media Arts’ (KHM) in Cologne, Germany, where she studied film directing and screenwriting. Since then she has worked as a freelance director, writer and script consultant.

About:
Due to the covid-19 pandemic the choir d’acCHORd is using an empty parking lot for practicing. Apart from each other in safe distance and surrounded by urban noise it is getting hard to stay in tune but like they say in the video „At the core we’re still a choir and that means that we’re greater together“.
The resilience of this choir inspired me to use the location where they are practicing during the pandemic and make the best out of it: a music video that captures the state we’re all living in right now.
