Paul Mangan

I was born in Dublin in 1985 and grew up in Glasnevin. Interested in art from an early age I enrolled at the National College of Art and Design in 2003 where I specialized in Visual Communications. During this time I produced a varied body of work ranging from short films and animation to sculptures and paintings. Highlights from my time in college include having a photograph of one of my sculptures chosen as the image for the invitation card to the first year exhibition in 2004 as well as completing my fourth and final year in college earlier this year.

Since graduationg I have been producing music for my band Clockwork Orchestra as well as working on short films. Recently I was delighted to learn that my short film ‘Window Pain’ had been selected for the One Minute film and video festival in Switzerland in August.
I am currently having a personal website for my art and music made by a friend which will be finished in the near future and plan to spend the year working predominantly on music and films.
