Machfeld [aka Sabine Maier & Michael Mastrototaro]

MACHFELD (Michael Mastrototaro & Sabine Maier) was founded 1999 in Vienna. Based on the identically named cyber-novel, they developed an art-label with the focal points: web-art, short- and experimental films, streaming-projects, interactive installations as well as works for the public space.

Sabine Maier born in Friesach-Austria, studied Photography and Film in Vienna.
Michael Mastrototaro born in Graz –Austria, Studied Computer music and visual Media in Vienna.

They realized Art works in the following art fields:
Photography and media exhibitions, Interactive Media installations, Streaming projects, Audio and video works, art in public space, net art, short- & experimental films.

From 1995 participation at several media art festivals – international Galleries and Museums Exhibitions.
