is a Swedish writer and artist living in Stockholm. She works in web-based new media that enables her to explore new forms of narrative, or lack thereof. Recurrent themes in her work are language, desire and love. She interprets them as the basis for the construction of our subjectivity, which is enhanced, questioned, and perhaps undermined by the remixability offered by digital technologies.
Yvonne Martinsson holds a PhD degree in English literature from the University of Stockholm. She is the author of Eroticism, Ethics and Reading: Angela Carter in Dialogue with Roland Barthes (Stockholm, 1996). Her work has been exhibited / published online at the Javamuseum, Live Herring and Static/the London Consortium, among others.
