Yiannis Konstantinou was born in 1963. He studied Graphic Arts at the School of Graphic Arts and Art Studies, TEI of Athens (1982-87), and painting/photography at the School of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki (1988-94). He also holds an MA in “Digital Arts†from the Athens School of Fine Arts (2002-04). His work involves painting, photography, video, digital imaging and game-art. He has received 3 awards for his photographic work in Greece (1993, 1998, 2003) and a National Scholarship from Greek State Scholarships Foundation for postgraduate studies in Painting. He has presented his work in 3 solo exhibitions in Athens and Thessaloniki, Greece, and in many group projects, exhibitions and festivals in Greece, Germany, France and China. He lives and works in Athens.
