Trond Lossius (Norway)

Trond Lossius

Trond Lossius is a sound and installation artist living in Bergen, Norway. He holds a master degree in geophysics, and then went on to study music and composition at the Grieg Academy. For the last seven years he has been concentrating on working on electronic sound and music, mainly doing sound installations, stage productions and other kinds of cross-diciplinary projects in collaboration with a wide range of artists from various fields. His work has been presented at major venues and festivals in Norway and abroad.

He was former manager and artistic director of sound at BEK, Bergen Center for Electronic Arts, and is currently a research fellow in the arts at Bergen National Academy of the Arts, Department of Fine Arts.
