Morgen Christie
is a Chester County, PA, based artist whose work is exhibited nationally and internationally. She studied Visual Arts with a concentration in Video & Film Arts at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, MD. Morgen also studied in Florence, Italy, at Studio Art Centers International. Her videos have been screened at the Museum of Modern Art’s Pop Rally in New York City, NY, Usurp Zone 5 Film Festival in London, UK, and Palazzo Jules Maidoff in Florence, Italy. Her video FLOW won 2nd place prize at The Exchange Gallery, in Bloomsburg, PA. FLOW was also screened at the Unseen Festival in Denver, CO. Morgen, creates projection work that she screens all throughout Pennsylvania. She has also shown work in Hungary, The Netherlands, Vietnam, and Jerusalem.

SOCIAL DISTANCING, was created when Covid-19 was first coming to the states. It was a very warm weekend, just 2 weeks ago, and everyone was out. The footage was taken at Valley Forge National Park. It was a time of observation, as these people would probably not be in this close proximity by month end.
