Born September 1978. Graduated MA in theatre study from Tehran university of fine Arts. Started art career as poet and literary translator , translated and published some well-known plays by Woody Allen,
Ariel Dorfman, David Ives, Nilo Cruz and introduced to Iranian audiences for the first time some of most prestigious writers of world literature like Fernando Sorrentino, Aleksander Hemon, Eduardo Galeano,
Leonard Michaels, Tobias Wolff, Charles Baxter, Hanif Kureish …through his 6 published books. participated and presented papers in half dozens of International conferences on Theatre in Morocco, Bosina, Sudan, Germany, Azerbaijan, Jordan..
He launched his film career with acting in some short and feature films and then moved into Documentary cinema as researcher and editor. As a documentary filmmaker he has made some films which awarded and screened in national and international film Festivals. His first film “Into Thin Air” premiered at Berlinale 2011 and shown in more than 20 festivals till now. His second film again premiered at Berlinale 2012 is on the way to dozens of film festivals around the world. He lives in Tehran working on his new documentary about the life of wedding ceremony photos and footages in Iran.
