Karla Schuch Brunet (Spain/Brazil)

KARLA SCHUCH BRUNET

was born in Brazil in 1972. She has a degree in Social Communication and another in Language. After university she got a grant to take her MFA (Master in Fine Arts) in San
Francisco, USA, where she studied and worked in digital imaging for 3 years. Back to Brazil she participated in diverse projects involving photography and Internet. She worked for a few years
also doing commercial work on the web. Parallel to that, she exhibited works such as “Aspire, Strive, Attain”, “Corpo Estranho”, “Pessoas e Comércio no Centro de São Paulo”, “Errante”, in San Francisco, São Paulo and Santa Maria. When in São Paulo she taught to Multimedia students in Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and ESPM. Nowadays, with another scholarship from the Brazilian government, she lives in Spain where she is writing her thesis on Network projects.
