VIP – VideoChannel Interview
STATEMENT
The inspiration for my art comes from urban scenes, surfaces and structures – from the repeated play of familiar patterns to the variation of texture and colour created by shadows, reflections, aging and decay. My work is about the observation of the often overlooked or ignored details all around us in urban life that create artistic abstractions due to the effects of time and place.
