Hans Gindlesberger’s artistic practice employs photography and related technologies to create projects that are rooted in a need to recover a sense of belonging from a landscape that is increasingly in states of social, psychological, and physical transition. As a recipient of a 2008 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Photography, his work has been exhibited internationally in galleries and screenings. Currently, he holds the position of Area Head of the Photography Department in the Peck School of the Arts, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
