Born in Uruguay in 1981, Gastón Arévalo began learning the traditional instruments at a very young age.
He began to incorporate other instruments and began to experiment with recordings and ambient samples and decided by the end of 90s to dedicate his time to experimenting with music and computers.
An aesthetic interest in nature has always been one of the fundamental elements of his inspiration. His interest lies in contemplating different landscapes, and converting these landscapes into a digital environment in the form of music.
His music, therefore, is based on organic rhythms, noises, and sounds. varying textures, melodies, mixed with electric-acoustic collages and visual landscapes, his goal is to create a profound and surrounding sound and atmosphere. his music could be categorized as “ambient experimental†and “minimal dub.â€
