Bernadette Johnson was born in 1955 in Saint Gall (Switzerland) and lives in Basle.
She worked as an audiotechnician for Swiss Radio DRS. Since 1995 she is working part-time as a documentalist at MEMORIAV (Preserving the audiovisual heritage).
Author of acoustical poems, radioart, installations and other sound projects. Prizes and Mentions: Phonurgia Nova, Radio Helsinki (Graz), IMEB Bourges, FKL (Forum für Klanglandschaft), Hoer.Spiel FH St.Pölten, Karl Sczuka Förderpreis 2007.
