René Bauer and Beat Suter are founding members of AND-OR. They developed more than 15 projects with AND-OR since 2001. Among them Streamfishing (2004), Gamescape (2005), Searchsongs (2006), Sniff-Jazzbox (2007) and Wardive (2007). in 2006 AND-OR’s work Streamfishing received an award from the ars electronica. In three of their projects they have been cooperating with the artist Johannes Auer.

Beat Suter has a ph.D. from Zurich University. He works as a lecturer for Gamedesign/ Interaction Design at the University of Arts Zürich. His research focuses on: Netliterature, Netart, Game Art. He has published on Hyperfiction, Interactivity of digital texts, Netliterature and collaborative writing. He is the publisher of the „edition cyberfiction“.

René Bauer works as a lecturer for Gamedesign/ Interaction Design at the University of Arts Zürich. He is an independent game developer and software engineer. His research focuses on Game Programming, Game Art, Interactivity of digital texts, collaborative writing.

Johannes Auer is an artist. He lives in Stuttgart. He was part of the group “Das Deutsche Handwerk” in the 90ies. His artist pseudonym is Frieder Rusman. He has worked in net art since 1996. In 2000 he received an award from LHS Stuttgart for New Media. In 2003 he won the 1. price of Literatur.digital 2003 [dtv / T-Online]. In 2004 he received the EMARE Stipendium Dundee, Scotland [European Media Artist Residency Exchange]. Since 2006 he works as a lecturer for New Media at the Merz-Akademie [Hochschule für Gestaltung] Stuttgart.
