MARK POLISHOOK

is a composer, a jazz pianist, and a new media artist. His current project, Robots-in-Residence, is a hybrid installation (based on the www and in physical space and built with assistance from Thomas Heide, Ole Caprani, and Martin Brynskov) with robots, sound, video, a chatterbot, and incoming e-mail from the audience.
Mark Polishook is working on his Robots-in-Residence project throughout the 2003/04 academic year as Guest Professor/ Visiting Artist in the Computer Science Department at Aarhus University (Denmark) during which time he is on leave from Central Washington University in the United States.
