Alessandro Zangirolami
Alessandro Zangirolami was born in Milan in 1981. He graduates in Contemporary Art and Film and New Media aesthetics, then applies his fascination for non-linear storytelling to independent TV productions. He worked as freelance videomaker, writing / directing / editing short TV formats. He’s currently pursuing his MFA at Temple University (Philadelphia) to strengthen (or discard?) his idea of a filmmaking far from narrative and close to the physicality of human actions. His works explore pauses, obsessions, revelations. Memories, known images, a familiar mood: something that can hold the viewer for a moment, allowing the magic to come in.
