Constanza Gazmuri

In 2009 Gazmuri obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts along with a minor in Photographic Aesthetics. After graduating from Catholic University of Chile, she was an Assistant Professor in general education classes at the same university. During 2010, she received a Masters in Art Director from the School of Cinema and Audiovisual de Catalunya (ESCAC), Spain. Since then she has been working as an art director in a several short films.
Her research focuses on the visual verisimilitude of the image and concepts linked to these themes. Themes she addresses in her work are urbania and landscape, that materialize through photography and video. She has exhibited both nationally and internationally in festivals such as: 2010 Chilean Video Art RIGHT NOW!, Espace Alternatif, Grands Boulevards, Paris, France; Bang Festival, Barcelona, Spain, 2009 Box, Young Art Gallery Balmaceda 1215, Santiago, Chile, 2009 Auction What is it?, Tudor Hall, Cerro San Cristobal, Santiago, Chile.
Currently she works as an art director for a Chilean feature-film as well in developing other audiovisual projects.
