Tamar Schori, A new media artist, has started her practice in the field in the late 90’s. She graduated with excellence from the Bezalel Art academy, Israel and SVA NY, and has centered her net.art and new media installations around the concepts of hive mind, collective intelligence, the sense of the body in virtual environments, and the virtual wall of collective memory. She has exhibited in group shows, single shows and on-line shows around the world showing an innovative point of view. In 2003 she had developed with Oded Perry a net.art project by the name of “oodlala” which was in fact a fully functional social web of lost objects. As a Co-founder of doflash.com, an information visualization company, she leads the concept and visual development of elaborate and groundbreaking visual machines.
