Brigid is an Australian, clarinetist, composer, visual artist and video-maker. She has had works performed extensively both nationally and internationally. Most recently ABC Saturday Afternoon Sessions Australia, Generative Arts Festivals in Milan Italy, New Music Network, The Melbourne International Arts Festival, the 2009 International Video Dance Festival of Le Breuil France and 21th Instants Video Festival in France, Futura Music Festival Paris France. Also performing solo clarinet, live electronics (laptop) and electronics at The International Clarinet Festivals in Japan and Canada and numerous performances at the International Computer Music Festivals in Seoul and Australia.

In 2009 she has been Artist in Residence at ADM NTU Singapore and in 2008 she was a recipient of an Australia Council Performing Arts Music Project Fellowship.

Her involvement New Music has led her to integrate sound, visuals (DVD) and theatre in her performances of her own work and in collaboration with other composers/performers. Other ensembles Brigid performs with are Tri Duo (with Grania Burke), Carte Blanche (with Ros Bandt), David McNicol, Ollie Bown, The Australian Chamber Ensemble and The Free Music Ensemble.

She has received commissions from the Australian Broadcasting Commission ABC, Australian Asian Foundation, Japanese Printing Corporation, ANAT, South Australian Govt., Australia Council and Universities have supported Brigid in her performances, compositions and artwork. She has a Master of Music in Composition from Melbourne University Australia
