Born in 1979, Anthony Baron lives in Paris and works between Orléans, Lyon and Paris. Self-taught musician, he turns very fast to an experimental practice with an approach done wonders for the self-confidence on improvised music for an intuitive music.
Fascinated in great detail sounds in everyday life, Field recordings and sound effects are the essential elements of his work.
It is under the name of Anton Mobin, that he produces sound pieces for radio, dance, theatre and that he diffuses his creations under the shape of sound installations, on disks but also during sessions of listening in radiophonic events : [sonor] (Nantes, France), Festival Longueur d’Ondes (Brest, France),Festival du libre (Nantes, France), SoundCast V (Richmond, US). .
By the way, different netlabels released Anton Mobin’ works in Germany (Konkretourist, HeadPhonica), in France (HAK lo-fi record, La p’tite maison, Trace Label), and soon in Russia (Clinical Archives) .
Since 2003, Anton Mobin works with the label of independent music H.A.K. Lo-Fi Record : a structure steered by artists who wonder about the sound spaces in term of politeness or plastic installations, but also on the various manners to practice Sound.
In 2006, Anton Mobin joined the web radio Arteradio.com and the group OuRaPo. (www.arteradio.com)
