Fabrizio Augusto Poltronieri has graduated in Graphic Design at Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo, in Brazil; he is post graduated in Graphic Design in the same institution. He has an M.A. in in Education, Arts and History of Culture at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, in São Paulo, Brazil, where he researched about the sintaxis of the interactivity, finding a link between the Parangolés, created by the Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica, and the concepts found in digital games. He is currently working to get his Ph.D. in Semiothics and Communication at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP), in Brazil, researching the narrative modalities of imagetic narratives found in games. He works as an arts and design professor at Centro Universitário SENAC and Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. In 2007 he founded the pmdn +zero do brasil, group dedicated to the research and practice in the field of digital arts.

Nicolau Centola is an electronic engineer, graduated at UNICAMP. Currently he is getting his M.A. in Education, Arts and History of Culture at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, in São Paulo, Brazil. He has worked as a jornalist, writing about technology and web. Nowadays he is a professor for the Digital Design e Journalism courses at Centro Universitário FIEO, in Osasco, Brazil.
