Jessica Westbrook is an interdisciplinary artist and designer. Her modular projects explore desire, visual cues, cultural artifacts, and contradictory sensations that vacillate between great fortune and impending catastrophe. Westbrook has exhibited her projects nationally and internationally, including recent exhibitions at Axiom Center for New and Experimental Media (Boston), The Grey Market (NYC), the Lab (San Francisco), and the Experimental Media Series at the Hirshhorn Museum, Smithsonian (DC) where she was a finalist for the Kraft Prize. Westbrook received her MFA from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, PA and is Assistant Professor in the Department of Contemporary Practices, at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
