Shelley Jordon
Shelley Jordon is a painter and multi-disciplinary artist born and raised in Brooklyn New York. She was the 2010 Visual Arts Fellow for the Jerusalem Cultural Fellowship, a recipient of a 2010 Oregon Arts Commission Individual Fellowship Award, a Fulbright-Hayes Group Travel Research Grant to Yemen and Tunisia, and a 2010 OSU Center for the Humanities Fellowship Award. She has had over thirty one-person exhibitions, nationally and abroad. Her hand-painted animations and installations have been shown in Hamburg, Germany, Sydney, Australia, Jerusalem, Israel and Los Angeles, CA. She received her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York and her MFA from Brooklyn College. Jordon currently resides in Portland, Oregon and is a Professor of Art at Oregon State University.
