Philipp Haffner (born 1974 in Berlin) lives and works in Berlin. He studied Fine Arts at the academy of Arts Hamburg (HfbK) and German Literature at the University of Hamburg. Haffner explores drawing as a direct and independent medium of communication, documentation, narration and imagination. He attempts to expand the bounderies of drawing art into other medias like video and literature.
