Pat Badani’s intermedia work examines notions of space, place, cities, communication, global processes and digital environments.

Badani received a B.F.A. from The University of Alberta in Canada and an MFA from the School of The Art Institute of Chicago. She has taught and given lectures in Canada, Mexico, France and the USA. She is Assitant Professor of Integrated Media at Illinois State University in the USA.Her works are found in public and private collections in several countries. She has been awarded 13 individual artist grants for her projects. In 2002 she received a major Canada Council Media Arts Research Grant to develop an international Performance in Public Space and Webcast project. Having lived in 7 countries in the Americas and Europe, she now lives in Chicago and in Montreal.
