Nathan Boyer is a painter, animator and performance-video artist. For several years he has worked on parallel projects exploring serial narratives and the nature of how people both embrace and subvert cultural stereotypes to create personae. He has an MFA from the Yale School of Art and is an assistant professor at the University of Missouri. He is currently in Austria on a Fulbright award where he is also an artist-in-residence at the quartier21/Museums Quartier program in Vienna for digital media.
