Luke Munn is a Berlin-based, New Zealand cross-discipline artist whose work is multi-faceted; incorporating sound performance, scripting and curation. He utilises field recordings, electronics and small instruments such as glass shards – often recording, sourcing objects, and performing in unusual spaces: abandoned U-Bahn stations, former embassies, and underground carparks. These elements are woven together into performances with a focus on realtime, organic manipulation, and a physical, visual set of movements. He also produces script-driven sound works and compositions – mining data from the stock markets or human DNA in a series of contemporary responses. He regularly collaborates with a range of musicians, artists, and programmers in Germany, Poland, Spain and New Zealand.
