Linda Pieke
Born 14th may 1963 in Haarlem, The Netherlands
Started with drawing at a very young age, but decided to pursue a career in singing as she moved to London, UK.
Immigrated to New Zealand where she became involved in fashion and modelling.
After returning to Amsterdam, commenced with drawing and completed several studies to enhance the quality of her artistic work and organizational skills.
Worked as a freelance stylist in commercial & artistic projects.
Obtained her didactic/pedagogic certificate and taught in the following disciplines; marketing communication, advertising & media, presentation techniques, religion & philosophy, management.
Went public with her pastel drawings and had exhibitions in Himalaya Centre, The Rose Centre, Rotterdam Art Festival, Amsterdam Tibetan festival as well as participating in other art events.
Designed and published several websites.
Launched & structurized multi-disciplined art project which involved various artists.
Painted several wall paintings as assignment and extended her drawing skills to body painting.
Became a graphical designer & art director for IBM and has since then created concepts & designed and produced multimedia movies in Flash for various contractors.
