Juan Alcón
Born in Madrid in 1959, has worked in the elaboration of proposals dealing with the interrelationship between artistic languages in diverse areas of plastic arts (paintings, objects, instalations and performance art), audiovisual genre (short films and video-setups) and design (corporate identification and graphic edition projects, art direction and production of TV headings).
Graduated in Fine Arts (1980-5) from the Complutense University of Madrid, he has participated in numerous collective projects: Cyan, Altera y Acción, Música Gráfica and La Máquina del Descubrimiento, creating different exhibitions, setups and experimental short films
Interested in the integration of art and technology, he has been working since 1985 as a teacher of plastic arts and design (specialised in audiovisual genre)
In 2004 has been co-curator of MAD.03.
