I am a university student in Montreal, Canada. I am interested in sound and how it affects us. The work I am sumitting is called “fever”. I’ve created a piece that uses incoherent sounds and speech to represent a feverish dream. Dreams are random, incoherent images and sounds, yet
they come together to create a reality that is accepted and makes sense to the dreamer. This piece tries to create the same effect. Once the listener accepts the sounds, then they can begin to decipher and make sense of it.
