Hugo Burgos
Hugo Burgos is an media scholar and intermedia artist who combines his theoretical interests with his artistic production. His artistic work looks at how contemporary media embodies human experience in ways thatconnect the past with the future. He also has created interactive media productions with local coreographers to research the liminal space where performance, subjectivity and memory meet. For the past eight years he has been dean of the College of Communication and Contemporary Arts at Universidad San Francisco de Quito. He is also founder of www.radiococoa.com, an independendent online radio station.
