Patrice Scanlon
Patrice Scanlon is an electronic musician, dancer and intermedia artist living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work plants audiences in the center of the ring where academic music is in one corner and popular music in the other. The battle of these two separate identities and stigmas are presented through Scanlon’s dark, ethereal and rhythmic music that invites the listeners to embrace that which is familiar as well as unfamiliar to them.
