Guli Silberstein

Guli Silberstein is a London-based video artist, video editor and a lecturer. Guli received a MA in Media Studies, focusing on media art and video editing, from the New School University, NYC, USA, in 2000. His video works often address the cognitive experience of space and time, exploring in-between situations, questioning issues of existence, conflicts and representation. The works utilize both mass media images and personal footage, which are digitally processed to create new patterns, forms and meanings. Guli’s work has been extensively presented in festivals, museums and galleries including: Transmediale Berlin, Kassel Film and Video Festival, Videobrasil Sao Paolo, EMAF Osnabrueck Germany, the National Centre of Contemporary Art Moscow, ScalaMata Exhibition Space Venice, and the Museum on the Seam Jerusalem.
