Derek Larson is a video and installation artist teaching art classes in video and animation for motion graphics and multimedia projects. His work has been exhibited in San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, Detroit, New York, and Toronto. A 2007 graduate of the MFA program at the Yale School of Art in Sculpture, Larson has taught at colleges in New Hampshire and Vermont. He was recently nominated for the 2009 Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant in New York.
