Bovey Lee is a digital and multimedia artist. Her Body Garden digital print series features hybrid forms of nature motifs composed by the artist’s own body. In these works, Lee explores the fluidity of human identity in the age of technology.
Lee earned her first MFA degree in painting from UC Berkeley, California and she subsequently received her second MFA in computer graphics and interactive media from Pratt Insitute, New York.
Bovey Lee has shown at numerous prestigious venues, including Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York; University Museums, UC Santa Barbara & UC Berkeley, CA; Kennedy Museum of American Art, Ohio; Steven Gang Gallery, New York; Museum of Fine Arts, Beijing, China; Fukuoka
Museum, Japan; Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong, and many others.
Currently, Bovey Lee is an Assistant Professor of Art at University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
