Adam Buczek is a Polish artist living and working in the UK.
He graduated with an MA in Social and Cultural Animation in Film and Photography from the University of Zielona Gora in 2002, and is currently studying for an MA in Design Studies at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London, whilst simultaneously holding down an Art Director job at digital media agency.
Adam has had about a dozen exhibitions in Poland in the fields of photography, photo-installations and performance art.
His influences include the conceptual art of the 1960s and 70s, and his passion is the exploration of the perception of art , rather than art itself, and its context within and relation to reality.
Reality out of context can be manipulated.
Adam is a partner of ‘Apart-arts’, an organization of immigrant artists based in the UK and a member of Bermondsey Artists’ Group
