was born in England, and grew up in the UK, France and the Middle East. He attended Winchester School of art and Duncan of Jordanstone Dundee. He then moved to London and worked in the film industry. In 2002 he left to pursue his own art practice.
Oliver Flexman is a multi-media artist and filmmaker, making work that engages with individuals and communities. Dealing with ideas arising from individuals’ sense of self and the changing contextual world around them. Between 2003 and 2007 Oliver has made and shown work in France, England, Spain, Scotland, Australia and Ireland. He also works as The Third Person, a collaboration between himself and Steven Dickie. Based in London.
