I WORK WITH A VARIETY OF AUDIOVISUAL, AND LIVE AND VISUAL MEDIA ON SCALES RANGING FROM FACE-TO-FACE AND STAGE, TO FILM AND ARCHITECTURAL PROJECTION AND PERFORMANCE. I HAVE EXHIBITED AND CURATED INSTALLATION, PERFORMANCE, PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILM IN THE UK AND IN EASTERN EUROPE. MY WORK IS CONCERNED WITH IDENTITY, SITE AND TRANSFORMATION. I HAVE A NUMBER OF TECHNICAL, CREATIVE, PRODUCTION, DESIGN AND IT SKILLS.
Between 1991 and 2001, I staged 9 serial site-specific and Cruelty adaptions of single chapters from James Joyce’s famous ‘Work-In-Progress’, FINNEGANS WAKE (1939) with actor, Tam Dean Burn.
My experience includes production and travel in: Greece, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Central Japan, Russia, Siberia, and the USA.
I have also worked diversely as a theatre and film director, an actor, a performer and choreographer, as well as as a writer and as a performance and visual artist.
I speak French, Modern Greek and some Russian and Japanese.
I first directed theatre in 1974. I began to work with film and video in 1989 and then also with digital media from 1994. I have internet design and multimedia production skills.
