Luxembourgish, I am based between Luxembourg and Venice, Italy with an MFA from the Venice Fine Arts Academy. My artistic research most frequently takes its initial inspiration from personal questions or relationships. I make use of the intimacy involved in the personal to reveal or reflect on universal questions, often adding elements of autofiction and a dose of humour. Reflections involving time also frequently recur in my research as do wide-ranging interests from philosophy and psychology to cultural anthropology and sociolinguistics. I hold as well a degree in political science/international relations, which is also often present in my work.

These two videos have been extracted from installations and repurposed as reflections on the 2020 “Corona crisisâ€. Washing takes hand washing as a perpetual loop to a level of obsessiveness. First Gaze reflects on the moment of awakening in slightly slowed motion as we gaze at ourselves and take stock during shutdown.
