Juliet Davis

She is an artist and writer. Her works on the net are an extention of her research on the cross among race, identity and technology. She uses Internet as an instrument to deepen and to foster the feminist theories. She dedicated particular attention to the representation of feminine body in cyber space. Among the institutions that presented her work: File Rio (Rio de Janeiro 2007); SIGGRAPH (Boston 2006); MAXXI – Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo (Roma 2006); ICA – Institute of Contemporary Art (London 2005); Web Biennal (Istanbul 2005); Irish Museum of Modern Art (2004); Rhizome.org at The New Museum, New York (2004); University of Tampa Museum, Tampa, U.S.A. (2003). In 2003 she received the Golden Web Award on occasion of the Tampa International Film Festival.
She currently lives and works in Tampa, Arizona (U.S.A.)
