Misa Nikolic (Canada)

Misa Nikolic
http://members.shaw.ca/burnia/

is an artist and writer based in Edmonton. Ask him where he’s from and he might have difficulty answering. Born in Winnipeg, he has also lived in Saskatoon, Calgary, and Vancouver. Suffice it to say that he is from Western Canada.

Having studied art in Calgary and art history in Saskatoon, he received his MFA in 2001 from the University of British Columbia. Now that his formal schooling is over he has finally taught himself how to paint properly. Plus, all those seminars came in handy, and he is now a bona fide wordsmith as well.
