Florentine Perro
I have recently graduated in creative writing from the University of British Columbia and although I have been making visual art for a number of years, I have not exhibited professionally except in the context of my written work.
The combination of image/text is what most interests me and I have concentrated on making small bookworks that use found text and images as well as my own writing and drawings. My newest bookwork, titled AFIELD. It is 5†x 6â€, 28 pages with 8 pages in colour, handsewn with colour covers. I have published my work in FRONT magazine, Alternator, Geist, and Makara.
