John Plenge (aka ToneFactory)* – is an ASCAP, NYSCA and OBIE award winning composer, sonic artist and musician who writes and records music, designs sound and creates interactive sonic installations for filmmakers, performers, theater and dance companies in the US and in Europe. John has had his music and sonic environments featured in performances, exhibitions and films in the U.S, England, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Australia, Japan, Mexico and Turkey. His film scores have played in festivals all over the US and in Europe and a recent sound art piece was honored by Laurie Anderson as part of the NYC Mixed Messages show this past December.
