was born in Kalamata Greece and grew up in various cities both in Greece and Europe. She received her BSc degree in Psychology from University of Crete, followed by an MSc in Ergonomics from the University of London (UCL). Despite her scientific background, she decided to have a change of direction to Art, and she studied Painting at the Athens School of Fine Arts (ASFA). From her early art projects she has experimented with ideas involving the use of the computer. During recent years she has been working on her net-based project named “ARTPLANKTOS”, which was presented in 2009 at the 12th International Annual Conference of Generative Art held in Milan-Italy. Due to her interest in psychology she collaborates with fellow artists on the visual representation of children’s tales using a psychoanalytic approach. Her work engages net art, art teaching and writing.
She lives and works in Athens.
