Born in São Paulo, Brazil, where she lives and works.

Graduated with a BA degree in Social Communications from FAAP, São Paulo,

this was followed by an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and

Design in London, UK, sponsored by the Brazilian Ministry of Culture – Bolsa

Virtuose – in 2001.

She was an Artist in Residency at the Banff Centre for the Arts, Canada, at

the Nagasawa Art Park in Japan, and Braziers international artists’ workshop

in UK. Padovan has held solo exhibitions in several galleries including

Galeria Milan, Galeria Valu Oria, Galeria Thomas Cohn and Galeria Eduardo

Fernades in São Paulo and Espaço Cultural dos Correios, Paço Imperial

and Museu do Açude in Rio de Janeiro. She has also participated in several
