studied music at the Academy of Music ³Hanns Eisler² Berlin; additional studies at the University of the Arts Berlin and the Technical University Berlin in sound art, electro acoustic music and computer music; participant at the testing study course “Sound Studies” at the University of the Arts Berlin produces sound installations since 2001 (for example ³Der Luefter² at the Hebbel theatre Berlin 2002, ³Diva² for the ³Inventionen² Festival at the “Haus des Rundfunks” RBB Berlin 2002, ³Blick zurueck nach vorn² BDA Freiburg 2004), since 2004, Thomas Kusitzky is member of the group “Auditive Architektur” at the University of the Arts Berlin Thomas Kusitzky & Michael Wilhelmi founded an artist and composer collective named (((controller-entertainment. in 2002. It represents the frameset for different sound art projects and musical experiments, using computer game controllers such as joysticks, steering wheels etc..
