Title of Video : Roti or Mask ( Bread or Mask), 2020, 2:12
Synopsis : ROTI OR MASK
India has begun a nationwide LOCKDOWN in a desperate bid to stop the CORONAVIRUS (COVID 19) from spreading out of control in this densely populated nation of 130 crores people.
No Work for Lockdown days would mean no Income for thousands of MIGRANT LABOURERS who work as daily wagers. These informal workers (80% of India’s workforce) are the Backbone of the big CitiesEconomy. They are the Cyclist or the regulator of the ‘CYCLE OF LIFE’.
But LOCKDOWN makes surviving in a city a tell tale. So, in INDIA, the World’s Biggest Lockdown, has forced these thousands and thousands of men, women & children to walk hundreds of miles to reach their native villages in Rural India. They have no FOOD, no WATER, No MONEY. For them the FEAR OF DEATH due to violation of SOCIAL DISTANCING which prevent spreading of CORONAVIRUS is less than the FEAR OF DEATH due to HUNGER. They are confused between Roti (Bread) and Mask, which is more important to survive.
