Mads Ljungdahl originally trained as a painter at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen but has since worked in numerous different projects and media, such as making soundscapes and music for theater plays and movies, producing records as well as continuing his intimate work with visual art.
His recent visual work is mainly photo based. Ranging from clean “camera eye” photography to different hybrid techniques, balancing at the borders of photography. In his new and growing work with video he combines sound and images for the first time. He is represented in: Museet for Fotokunst, DK, FotoFest and Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, USA a.o.
