  • is a London based, award winner artist with a background in Fine Arts and Performance. She embraces a wide range of media including Video, Installation, Photography, Dance and Theatre.
    She was nominated for the BECK’S FUTURES’2005, her film ‘Process 5703/2000’ was Winner of Best Film & Best Sound Track at the ‘Premio Europeu Massimo Troisi’2003 (Florence/Italy), her video-installation “Ausencia II” was nominate for the Best Young work of FreshArt’2003 (UK) and in 1998 she was nominated for the ‘Stephen Arlen Memorial Award for Choreography’ at the National English Opera (London/UK)
    Castilho has an MA in Arts (Art & Media Practice) from University of Westminster (London-UK), a BA (Hons) in Dance Theatre from The Laban Centre for Movement and Dance (London-UK), a Diploma in Drama at the Universidade da Cidade (Rio de Janeiro – Brazil) and a Diploma in Dance at the Espaço Novo/ Escola de Dança Angel Vianna (Rio de Janeiro – Brazil).
    She has been working in London as an independent artist as well as directing the Arts collective MO.TIV – movement towards Theatre, Dance, Installation and Video work. Castilho has been creating video and photographic works, installations, site-specific projects and performances, had presented her works in Exhibitions, Venues and Festivals around Europe, America and South America, as well as published her photographs in magazines, newspapers and catalogues.
