Ping-Yao Chen (Kaohsiung, Taiwan) is a new media artist and is interested in making interactive art, art game and machinima production. He holds a BFA from Department of Art, University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. After living and working in the United States for some years, he returned to Taiwan, where he works as a freelance artist. His works are intended to reflect issues of social concerns and express various voices of the underprivileged minority from the aspect of art and technology.
